Now aged 57 I thought I may have left Lasik surgery a little too late. How wrong I was. The expertise and compassion demonstrated by the staff at Fendalton made my surgery a very comfortable, painless exercise with no hidden surprises. The staff and Dr. Kent were absolutely fantastic!  It doesn't matter how prepared you are, it's still a bit nerve wracking when you finally lie down for the surgery. But there's always a kind voice talking you through the procedure and a feeling of assurance in the capable hands of Dr. Kent. Have to admit the cup of hot coffee and biscuits afterwards were an absolute cherry on the cake, sipping away seeing the world without glasses!

My sole regret is that I did not have LASIK eye treatment at Fendalton Eye Clinic years sooner. The quality of care received, from that of the initial visit through to post-operative follow-up, exceeded my every expectation. Two of my friends had it done and were absolutely over the moon, so I thought ok I will have my eyes checked, but I was very sure I could not have it done because I had been wearing contacts for over 20 years. But it turned out I could have it done so made an appointment right away. They provided me with prescription glasses for the 2 weeks beforehand so that was perfect! The laser treatment is very very short and not painful at all. What made things easy too is that the staff advises you of every step of the way, before treatment and during so you know exactly what is happening and will happen next. I can now see better that I have ever before, and I had -8 and -7.5 degree - virtually blind without my contacts. The first night I woke up and... I could see! It is amazing and definitely worth the money. I would strongly recommend the Fendalton Eye Clinic to anyone with glasses or contacts, you will not regret doing it! Thank you so much Dr Kent and team, I am so happy!!
