Hello, my name is Marie and I have enjoyed working with the fantastic Fendelton Eye Clinic team since March 2009. I am an Opthalmic Assistant, working along side and assisting Mr Antony Bedggood. I love meeting Antony's patients and making sure their time at the clinic is a positive, comfortable experience.
Upon leaving school, I went to Auckland University to study optometry. I worked as an optometrist in private practice for 4 years in Upper Hutt and for 3 years in Auckland.
I am married to Hock and we have 3 gorgeous children. I love motherhood which is a fulfilling career in itself! At our childrens’ school I also work as a support teacher to students who struggle at mathematics.
