Free introductory screening assessment clinics are conducted at our premises in Christchurch & in centres throughout the South Island & Wellington.

Please read the following important information on how to prepare for your free HD LASIK introductory screening assessment

For assessments conducted at hotel venues please report to the hotel reception a few minutes before your appointment for directions to the room that we will be conducting assessments.

Please bring your most current spectacles with you.

During your assessment an image of your eyes will be taken to check that the front surface is regular. If you are a contact lens wearer we will require you to take your lenses out to perform some of the tests, please bring your contact lens container.

Your assessment will take approximately 30 minutes.

If for any reason you are unable to make your allocated appointment time, please phone 0800 DR  EYES, 0800 37 39 37 as we generally have a waiting list.

Free assessments are also offered in other major cities of the South Island and Wellington by Fendalton Eye Clinic staff. We do the same tests as take place in Christchurch including the most important one, corneal topography.

Fendalton Eye Clinic in conjunction with the Copthorne Hotel Commodore is delighted to offer a special accommodation rate to all clients of the Fendalton Eye Clinic of $200.00 (incl GST) per room, per night for a premium room and $250.00 (incl GST) per room, per night for a Business Level room.

As a part of this package the Copthorne will provide free airport to hotel, and hotel to clinic transfers.

The Copthorne Hotel Commodore is located a short distance from the Fendalton Eye Clinic.

Our only request is that you book your accommodation direct with the hotel using their 0800 808-228 freephone, and

state clearly that you are clients of the Fendalton Eye Clinic.
